so its my 21st today!
i guess i'm happy but not as happy as i thought i'd would be.
so many things have changed somehow.
the way i looked at my life and how i wanted to live it, the kind of person i am and stuff.
when i look back at what i've done over the last 20 years, all i can think of is being very playful and takin everything for granted.
i usually learn things the hard way.
I lived for the day and hardly even cared about the future and then i regretted - after i got my o'level results.
I ended up doing something i least thought i'd do although it was something close but yet not so close to what i initially wanted to do - A Doctor. Now, a Nurse.
But i wouldnt have wanted whatever happened any other way, because i've learned so much!
The friends i've made and the people i met at work, it has some how taught me about the existence of the various kinds of people in this world.
Its amazing how God actually works things in such wonderful ways and whatever He does has a reason behind it.
I'm still a lil unsure as to what i'm suppose to do now but, i do know that this new chapter that has begun will bring new adventures and up&downs.
I'm about to embark on a journey to a new place and that too alone.
But i'm sure that'll be an exciting one.

On a side note, I really do miss going for long walks , watching 2 movies back to back, brekkie, koi, going to night safari and singin Wannabe by Spice girls and basically hanging out.
Call me childish, i dont care- i wish on this 21st that things would be how i wish it would be .

i'm in one of my worst forms.
i've stopped work just so i could take a break from the daily torture that nurses face.
Everything was pretty much fine, till i finally drew the line, which i should have from the start of any form of relationship.( excluding my family.)
All these wouldnt have happened if i had DRAWN THE FUCKING LINE!
it's partially my mistake.
Now, i've lost a few and counting maybe?
and my gut feeling tells me it isnt over.
& i dont wanna lose my best.
my worst fear, loneliness. ( amazing how i'm even admitting it now).
Its probably the only reason why i felt obliged to be nice to everyone cos it felt good to have everybody by my side. Now, No longer.

but i've been in denial, clearly.
i was extremely gullible.
now its time to prepare to face my worst fear, because i have no doubt its round the corner.
i dont know if i'm being self fish or am i just plain scared.
not being able to saying it out loud or keepin it to myself, its a torture. i'd rather have consecutive fuckin bad days at work, at least then i'll have a few hours or days break in between from the shit before the cycle starts again.

Please God , Hear my Plea and give me a chance to make things right again without having to hurt anyone in the process.

but one thing's for sure, my limits have been set and it'll never change.
i doubt i'll let anyone new in and never take things for granted.

so, looks like this is my venting area.

its the time of the month , well not exactly yet.

in a day or two probably.

and my hormones are raging!

A LOT for that matter.

i probably sound like a stupid teenager who is tryna get used to the " oh-i'm-growing-these-two-lumps-on-my-chest-and-i'm-always-getting-pissed-at-everyone!" idea.

my thoughts are like scattered everywhere.

and i'm finding hard to put them back to together in a sentence.

i should go for english class or something.

anw, thats not the point.

point is, i'm probably the only traditional fool who reminisces bout the past.

but only too often.

looks like i've been sitting in the past way too long that i failed to realize that the people around me have moved forward but me, still sittin there talkin about how fun life was as a student.

going on and on about how i miss being there and absolutely refuse to accept the fact that i'm actually a workin adult and when i face problems, i handle it the "student" way!

whining away and scheming on how to "take her down" and in the process i might have lost a friend's friendship. you see, i'm all about the wonderful beautiful relationships i have with people and i get Extremely affected when it gets destroyed or disrupted.

i'm tryin so effin hard to get over the whole student phase of my life, to move on and to think like an adult.

ha, when i've finally realized that i was left behind , i felt like a fool.

literally really.

i wont say that there wasnt anyone who told me to stop the whole whining shit and move on , there certainly was, but i was just too stubborn to move & stood there being in denial.

but when i'm hit real bad now, a couple of stuffs are at stake.

Trust, careers , relations, confidence, health and what not?

its fucked up and i'm facing it, like an adult.

Although there are times when i go back to the scheming and whining person when i just cant take it. just for a bit, and then back to an adult.

so whatever thats coming my way, i'll take it and gain the experience and learn NEVER to do it again. gaining back trust would take a long time, but i'm willing to wait a lifetime because i give a 100% to any friend who is close to my heart.

aight cut the mushy talk, bottom line is i've gotta prove to myself and everyone that i'm mature enough to be taken seriously.

As much as i despise EMO/Childish Blog post, this post is actually gonna be of such!

its been sucha long time aint it?

anw, work's alright but i HATE( Abhor,DETEST,DISTAIN,LOATHE or any other word that can describe my hatred right now) WORKING.

A LOT for that matter. i really dont know what else should i do.

i have no other choice but to continue for the next 7 to 8 mths before i LEAVE FOR GOOD!

i want that year's worth of experience.

honestly i dont get why am i feeling this way. nope! not one bit.

it pisses me off that i feel this way.

its a weird feelin. i'm not sure if its the hormones.

the kind where you feel the entire WORLD'S issue is on your shoulders and everyone is against you?

and i totally appreciate my friends who have been listenin to my crap about how i dont like work and ON REPEAT MODE for that matter.

i find it hard to let it go, to let go the fact that life is no longer like in school.

i'm struggling and i'm afraid of comin out of the playful part of me.

why you may ask, technically its the more confident side of me.( funny , i know).

if not for that part of me, what remains is the serious and timid side which i totally hate!

i love the happy go lucky feeling, but i hate it that people tend to get a lil extra strict with me cos of my playfulness. i wont deny that its human nature to do so.

well, all i can say is that i'm currently livin in denial, which sucks.

every time i wanna snap out of it, i go to that "Whatever" mode.

right now, i just feel that i should just leave this country and Start afresh.

new people , new environment, new identity and have no contact with old and current contacts.

see what i mean ? So EMO ! Gawd!

but honestly, if given a chance - I'd DO IT! DEFFO!

i feel a lil better after pourin out this shit which i found hard to verbalize to anyone, not even my best friends. nope, dont know why .

its been Quite 'INTERESTIN' at work, recently.

since last mon!

made me "love" my job a lot more than i alrdy do!

no doubts i have helpful staffs ( i'm not being sarcastic here ), but i just HATE the way I'M SO NOT organized which leave my fellow ppl laughin at me - Frustrated but SMILING.

WOW! its been really long huh ?

haha its comin to almost 3 months!

so yes, now i'm workin at sgh!

in the wards for that matter.

it was a lil difficult in the beginin, esp becos the whole settin is so very different.

but, i must say despite all the difficulty , i made some good friends there.

altho it can get reallly busy and crazy, with the fun peeps there, i guess its somehow worth it =)

and of cos on the other i do MISS MY DEM PPL!

but its so hard to meet up with them cos of the schedule and all , and whats worst the stupid H1N1 crap.

okay right now, i'm feelin super hungry i could eat a monster!

yes, it was my 1st day at work today.

but its not like Work work, but more like lecture "work".

its my orientation period now.

for 21 days at both the patho lab and bestway building.

gosh, i sure bet my Ass is gonna be sooooooo badly sore!

i must say its extremely and i mean EXTREMELY wierd to be in a Staff Nurse uniform instead of the nyp's Blue patch uniform!

people could easily tell that we're newbies, cos of all the giggles and what not ?

but seriously, i was super tired today and i dont know how am i gonna wake up tmr morning.=(

oh wells, despite all the tiredness, i actually exercised today!

went out most of the time.

sent my HP lappy for servicing which i collected not long ago and its back at the service centre yet again!

the day finally came, and now i'm free for about 2months.

indeed i've got LOADS of time, but i'm pretty sure i'll get bored after like 2 weeks or so.

esp because the usual peepz i go out with, are goin overseas and i'm gonna be stuck here.

Its both a good and bad thing!

Good cos finally i'm done with PRCP and i've got close to 2 mths worth of break!

Bad cos i'll be missin all my friends from A&E and from my poly!

I'm so done with my 3 years in poly, hard to believe.

and as for last year's resolution,

i can safely say i accomplished atleast 2 out of 10.

To be a better, more confident person and to PASS ALL my subjects!

anw, i went to KL last week.

exactly last week.

went with my family and my relatives.

Had great fun playin pool, watchin movie, shoppin, playin taboo, pictionary, cards and what not?

its my 8th week now in SGH.

and in actual fact the 8th week is also comin to an end.

this comin Sunday is my 1st night shift.

kinda lookin forward to it.

but at the same time i wonder if i'd be able stay awake for my 3rd night.

after the 3rd night, i'm assuming i'm prolly gonna be an irritated person for like a day or so.

due to the lack of sleep.

anw, today's sort of the official 1st day of work at ED!

last week's just pure Orientation to the hospital and the ED.

oh wells, i think i'm liking the place and the people.

but its still too early to say!

Can't help it i'd say.

Life has taught me never to trust anyone too easily.

in actual fact, a day has already gone by.

ED att was pretty alright i guess and thats precisely where my "Coconuts" are gonna shrink!

and i thought i updated like 2 days ago but it was actually on Sunday.

so yesterday was my 1st written paper.

thought it was alright, although i'm pretty much dependent on my MCQ.

i've never liked psychology or sociology!

HA! and to think that i actually wanted to become a psychologist.

(like maybe when i 1st started poly! be little did i know what was in store for me!)

its was shit balls hard to get my "engine" started on studyin boy.

but i did it anyhoos!

i didnt eat the entire day except for dinner which i had yummy Pasta!

i was too tired to even care how hungry i was.

got back home came online, chat for awhile and FELL asleep.

got up again with a head banging headache.

did my usuals and went to sleep ard 11-ish 12, but managed to fall asleep ard 1-ish!

gosh but fallin asleep to those wonderful, soothing songs was just GREAT!

oh and i think i've gotta a hearing problemo!

i've been thinkin about changing my blog skin.

well its not much of skin i would say, but well.

i just dont know what to put up next.

anw, that isnt the questionable thought that's stated above on the heading.

i was walkin back home from school when i thought to myself, " Why am i so caring, concern and nice towards others?".

I mean not like its a bad thing or anything, but sometimes it just gets me.

funny, though i dont get why.

I'd have to say, i'm naturally like that.

but sometimes, it just gets way out of control that i feel awkward or rather i wonder if i'm insane or something.

so i've turned 19 this year.
how very fast time has past eh ?
i truly miss my childhood times.
cos the excitement then ,was very much different compared to the one right now.
it was one of which that was very innocent and carefree.
i recall one incident ,where i went up to my uncle and asked him , " Why you never wish me appy birdday?"
i think i was about 5 or 6 yrs old then.
innocent and carefree.
how i miss them soo very much.
the joy in receiving presents, definately one i looked forward to every birthday.
be it story books or even a lollipop, puts the biggest smile on my face.
as much as i seem very much like a materialistic person now, it doesnt really bother if someone doesnt give me a present.

in one of the emo/depressed moods now.

since ytd night to be exact.

depressed bout what you may ask.

the usual thing that teens go thru.

body image and health.

my teenage years are almost comin to an end.

will be 19 this may 19.

just another year left after i turn 19, before i turn a major!

and yet i can still be going thru this body image shit.

even tdy, i really think i made a mistake by wearing the shorts out.

everytime i walk pass people, i see eyes lookin straight at my thighs cos its too big which makes my shorts go up a lil when i walk.

(fyi: my thighs can be described as thunder thighs! if not, why i feel depressed?)

i shouldnt have worn it.

what was i thinking?

made my day worst.

it was bad enough when i got up.

after comin back from the clinic ytd, i sat and thought for a very long time why do i always end up gettin abscess and falling sick very often.

no matter how clean i keep myself or how much of water i drink or how many MEDICATIONS i take for that matter!

i think my clinical notes in the clinic is probably the thickest of all.

seriously, out of 365 days prolly half of the days i wasnt in good health last year.

abscess in the groin la, knee pain la, flu la, ear block la, here pain la there pain la.

FUCK ! seriously! FUCK!

its really fucked up to get up every morning feeling painful in your groin area and to know you've gotta take FUCKIN MEDICINE!

honestly, i'm that close to tears even while typing this out.

not cos i feel depressed, but because of FRUSTRATION !

this is not like me.

i'm not a very emo person altho i do have my emo moments.

i had a tough time being the usual me tdy.

Saturday.

i was suppose to go out with mom and dad.

but annoyingly, dad said he was gonna be back ard 9 .

so i kept callin him up every 1/2 hr since 6 and made him meet us at 8.

but only for a lil walkin ard at j8.

mom brought me to the optics to get my eye checked cos recently, i've been havin

terrible headaches which radiates up to my right eye.

true enough, my degree increased.

on my right eye that is !

something bout astigmatism.

the lady said i've a lazy eye comin up.

and that if i dont take care it'll get worst.

i decided to use my old spectacles back again only to find it broken in the plastic bag which had loads of junk in it.

i felt so glad ytd that i felt like jumping for joy the moment the clock struck 3 pm!

cos thats when my shift ended which meant attachments over!

yea so mae debs and i had mac breakfast during our break ytd and then planned to meet at the toilet ard 1 pm.

which we eventually did.

haha.

we were in the toilet chit chatting and we even took a picture or 2.

headed back to the ward, did some attending of call bells for about an hour,

and then it was GOODBYE to the ward for good!

called debs only to hear her say that she was on the way home to get changed and head to the airport.

yes. thats right.

she was gonna head to the airport for her flight to States!

how cool is that?

lol.

a good way of relaxing .

on the other hand mae and i headed to lil india for lunch where we stuffed ourselves with food!

and boy did i had a good laugh there!

got up ard 10 plus cos mom wanted to head down to Jurong East to get my CD playa repaired.

went there ard 12 then jalan jalan at IMM.

my granny kinda miss that area cos she used to work ard there.

so we hang out there for awhile before going to lil india for lunch @ BLA.

after lunch mom thought we should go look for a phone for myself.

so we walked ard and found a shop and i got myself a phone.

Nokia 5310.

the darn slim one.

kinda cool actually.

i paid 1/3 of the price which is 100 bucks .

mom paid the rest.

i feel effing bad.

cos almost every single time mom pays for me and i end up getting it changed in less than a year.

but hey! its not my fault that the phone spoils even after servicing it .

i'll do my best and look after this phone well.

the weather for the past few days has been really cooling and wet.

absolutely good for getting nice and cosy on the bed for an awesome sleep.

some person from the public wrote to the new paper forum

saying that,

" NYP nursing students are a waste of tax payers money."

whoever you are, listen up and LISTEN GOOD!

you think what, nurses fall from the sky or pluck from the tree to take care of the sick ?

stop being oblivious and ridiculous boy!

no matter what job you do , you still have to learn and get experience before you become gd at what you do right?

i think this person is such a horrible person.

dont you think its so dumb?

you want 1st class treatment but you dont want us to get trained!

we not only get scolding from people like you but we also get paid peanuts for what we go thru!

if your relative is admitted to the ward and the moment his/her condition worsen, you start running up to the nurse right?

why ?

cos you know that the nurse knows what to do or atleast would be able to contact the doctor in charge and manage him/her till the doc arrives.

the nurse definately needs to be trained to be able to manage the situation!

Painful and Lazy Saturday

i got up with a terrible cramp this morning!

one i havent had in AGES!

and it had to come and spoil my entire saturday!

WTF?

it was so bad that i had so much of difficulty breathing and felt really faint.

i thought i was gonna have an asthma attack or something.

its honestly one of the worst cramps i've had in 4 yrs!

BAD!

which obviously means i couldnt step out of house.

mom said i looked damme pale.

sigh.

so i ended up sleeping 3/4 of the day and got up not long ago.

oh yea i managed to book my FTT date.

its on the 8th of may!

so darn long la.

i'll prolly be able to get my license like maybe sept or oct?

if i pass my 1st sitting and my PT that is .

lets just hope so.

so yes. dealing with lil kids is not that easy afterall.
